STOREMOREON4 CREDIT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Indiana-Adapted) AND REFUND POLICY

Purpose

This policy outlines how STOREMOREON4 accepts, processes, and protects customer credit/debit card payments in accordance with Indiana law and applicable federal and card-network standards.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following for storage rentals and related services:

  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover
  • Secure online payment gateway or in-person at our facility
  • ACH transactions through your bank with written approval form customer and applicable forms filled out and on file

Authorization & Recurring Charges

By providing your card, you authorize us to:

  • Charge your card for rental fees, deposits, late fees, and other applicable charges
  • Charge your card automatically on or near the monthly due date if enrolled in autopay
  • Charge any unpaid balances or damages as specified in your rental agreement

Automatic Payments (Autopay)

Customers may opt into autopay. Changes/cancellations must be submitted at least three (3) business days before next scheduled payment to take effect.

Declined Transactions & Late Fees

  • If a transaction is declined, we will notify you via email or phone.
  • Payment must be made within 48 hours to avoid late fees or unit access restriction.
  • Failed payments may incur a $25 processing fee plus applicable late fees.
  • Repeated declines may result in removal from autopay and termination of lease contract

Refunds & Disputes policy

Refunds are governed by this refund policy. Key points:

  • Refunds may only be issued under approved circumstances (overpayment, duplicate charge, billing error).
  • Refunds will be returned to the same card used originally.
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear.
  • Disputed charges must be reported to info@storemoreon4.comwithin 15 days of the transaction date.

Surcharges & Convenience Fees

  • We currently do not routinely apply a surcharge for credit cards; if we choose to, details will be clearly presented.

Security & Data Protection

  • All payment processing occurs via a secure, encrypted gateway that meets PCI DSS standards.
  • We do not store full credit card numbers after the transaction is complete.
  • We will never ask you for full card numbers via email or text; any legitimate request will use our secure payment page.
  • If you receive a suspicious request for sensitive payment info, do not respond and contact us at info@storemoreon4.com.

Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks

  • We reserve the right to verify name, cardholder identity, or refuse service if fraud is suspected.
  • If a chargeback is filed without prior communication, we may suspend rental access, recover any fees incurred, or terminate service.

Data Retention

We will retain transaction records as required to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
